Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Account Manager at Kellie Byers State Farm. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting and servicing customers, ensuring their insurance needs are met and providing exceptional service throughout their experience.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new leads by identifying potential customers and reaching out to them through various channels such as calls, emails, and referrals.
Conduct thorough insurance reviews with new and existing customers to understand their coverage needs and recommend appropriate policies.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting customers with claims processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their continued satisfaction and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
Stay up-to-date with insurance industry trends, products, and regulations to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts in acquiring new customers and expanding existing customer relationships.
Prepare and present insurance quotes to customers, explaining coverage options and premiums in a clear and concise manner.
Assist customers with policy changes, renewals, and updates, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain organized customer records and document all interactions and transactions in the agency's CRM system.
Collaborate with underwriters and claims representatives to ensure timely and efficient processing of customer requests and claims.
Requirements:
Proven experience in insurance sales or account management, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry.
Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) in the state where the agency operates.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Proficiency in using technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and insurance quoting software.
Knowledge of insurance products, coverage types, and industry regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a self-motivated and proactive approach to customer service.
