Assist in a variety of duties including but not limited to, maintenance and of repair of mechanical systems, electrical systems and conveyance systems for a wide variety of production and associated equipment. Assist in any upgrades to this equipment as needed to further aid production.
Respond to production needs to insure proper operation and capabilities of all equipment
Coordinate with Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Manager on repairs, needs and renovations to equipment
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all plant equipment as directed
Maintain and repair production support equipment such as forklifts, pay loaders, sweepers and any other material handling equipment
Assist the maintenance department in compliance of all company, safety and environmental policies
Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment

Requirements / Education / Experience
General knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practices
Must have electrical knowledge and experience
Industrial maintenance experience is required
Welding / fabrication experience is a plus
Must wear all PPE, physical, drug and alcohol pre-employment screening required
Must exhibit a willingness to follow directions and have a good working relationship with other plant personnel
Able to lift, push or pull 50 pounds or more
Requires often climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting
Able to use tools and equipment to repair and provide maintenance while standing, crouching, stretching, extending extremities and under hot, dusty and cramped work environments
