DUTIES:As a Public Health Analyst, you will:
Analyze existing or proposed systems, strategies, services, or other health-related matters for long range implementation and administration of the public health program.

Prepare directives, issuances, memoranda, policy statements, and legislative proposals to introduce new initiatives and to recommend effective operations consistent with overall program objectives.

Analyze public health policies, programs, and statistical standards to advise senior management on public health policies, operations, products, and services.

Serve as analyst in developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating current or projected complex, interrelated public health programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations from multiple sectors at the community, State, national and/or international levels.

Research and prepare responses to inquiries received in writing or telephonically (e.g., Congressional briefing materials and responses.)

Serve as representative, project officer, or comparable position for administration of a comprehensive, multi-organization cooperative agreement.

Minimum Qualifications GS-13:

Specialized experience is experience, which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience analyzing complex public health policies, programs, and statistical standards to advise senior management on public health policies.
