Top aerospace company is looking to add a CAD Designer to their growing team In Los Angeles.
Ideal candidate will perform a variety of professional mechanical/aerospace design engineering tasks of a conceptual design, detailed design, analysis, or development nature. This candidate will also be responsible for maintaining design standards and the design library.

- Product Definition Engineer:
Prepare engineering product definition, (Models & Drawings), with associated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards. Actively participate in team meetings to assure design content for new or modified engineering designs. Prepares CAD files for team approval and monitors design release.

Provide support to the design community by assisting them with training and Windchill tasks. Troubleshoot Windchill issues.
Skills:
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required -Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is needed.
- Strong technical aptitude expected.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, brazing, machining, heat treating) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of CREO version 5
-Working knowledge of Windchill or similar PLM system is desired -Experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 is desired.
- General component and system level knowledge of rocket propulsion hardware is desirable.

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE
**First 3 weeks of assignment onsite full time. Then hybrid with onsite minimum 3 days a week.**
