Clean the World Foundation is a global health nonprofit operating programs focused on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). CTWF is currently seeking a Development Intern to assist with various development projects. The internship will be responsible for technical assistance and support in researching prospects for the CTWF fundraising pipeline for emergency programs, and also helping in preparation of templates to support the pursuit of funding from identified sources. In addition, the intern will assist the Development Director in sending donor acknowledgement and thank you letters to donors and supporters worldwide. This is an unpaid internship, and will work under the direction of the Director of Development. Based in DC, the intern will mostly work from home but may be asked to be present in the CTWF offices, if needed, up to once or twice per month.
1. Work with the Director of Development to research prospects for corporate partnerships and foundation grants based on targeted CTW Foundation Programs.
2. As directed, assist in the accounts management and assist in maintaining pipeline of the new prospects.
3. Create and send donor acknowledgement letters and thank you notes, as directed.
