The Red Hat team is looking for a Specialist Sales Professional Manager to help us meet our sales growth targets. In this role, you will be responsible for our solutions specialist teams covering our North American (NA) Telco customers. You’ll lead a team of solutions specialists to carry out our go-to-market strategy across our four business areas that include hybrid cloud platform, application development, management, automation, and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with different teams across the company, including other sales teams, marketing, engineering, consulting, as well as channel and industry partners. You’ll use your experience and leadership to develop your team, fine-tune the account planning and strategy, and help customers meet their business objectives while helping your team exceed revenue targets. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities
Achieve growth and meet sales targets
Own all aspects from recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the team
Implement strategic sales plans that help customers achieve their goals and objectives
Build long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their unique business and industry needs
Represent the voice of the customer by providing valuable feedback to various teams
Accurately predict sales and revenue forecasts to the executive teams
Manage strategy adoption and implementation across all appropriate team members
5+ years of telco-specific industry experience and expertise
8+ years of sales experience consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Demonstrated and proven ability to drive the entire sales process from start to close
Ability to successfully navigate a complex matrix sales team
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
Willingness to continually learn and educate through workshops, seminars, and conferences
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to effectively persuade at all levels
