The Division Vice President (VP) of Nursing Operations promotes high quality, patient-centered care by ensuring efficient and effective deployment of nursing initiatives and processes to support patient care across the division.

Interfaces with cross-functional division leadership to oversee nursing initiatives and strategies across the division.

Develops a division framework and strategy to prioritize, delegate, and execute initiatives that align with the enterprise strategy for nursing operations.

Assists in the development of clinical protocols that use evidence-based best practices to provide consistency and drive performance outcomes.

Interprets business data for the purpose of identifying patterns, trends, and variances across company operations. Maintains nursing demographic database in collaboration with market Informatics Team.

Provides feedback to corporate and division on nursing initiatives, standards of care, cross-functional initiatives, and clinical processes based on key performance metrics.

Engages with individual facilities to identify unique clinical/operational needs and assists with the development of action plans that are consistent with the mission of HCA. Evaluates ongoing productivity targets and benchmarks and recommends adjustments as necessary.

Builds strategic alliances and partnerships within the organization to collaboratively execute business strategies.

Develops and maintains external relationships to promote and enhance community engagement and recruitment.

Prioritizes potential initiatives to ensure maximum benefit and utilization of financial and personnel resources; Assists in the development of budgets for new nursing programs/services and assures they are reviewed, approved, recorded and initiated.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a healthcare field, or Business Administration Required

Master's degree Required

5+ years of experience in hospital analytics Preferred

Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
