The Focus Factory Manager - Switch Assembly is the key driver to the performance, efficiencies and employee satisfaction by analyzing the company’s organizational process and find ways to enhance employees’ work quality and productivity. The Focus Factory Manager - Switch Assembly will be the leader of our Switch assembly and test department.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operations

Construct operational policies and strategies that keep the organization functioning smoothly.

Build production schedules and estimate delivery for order fulfillment to meet the operational targets of the business

Evaluate equipment and resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
-
Proactively balancing current and future demand, ensuring that the Materials Requirements Plan adequately represents and supports the scheduled production activities

Lead and drive the Focus Factory team to continuously meet the performance standard of operation – KPI’s, including Quality, On-Time Delivery, Cost, Safety, etc

Generate production Capacity Requirement Planning (CRP) according to the demand forecast and generate production resource requirement plan to include labor, equipment, fixtures, tools and sub-materials, etc. to support the CRP
Financial

P&L responsibility - oversee various company financial processes such as auditing, reporting, and budgeting to ensure the company stays in great financial standing

Identify potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
Leadership

Motivate, support, and provide guidance to the repair station staff

Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives

Produce a Performance Management Process across area of responsibility for effectiveness, timeliness, and expected outcomes for overall business strategies and goals

Lead continuous improvement initiatives on production flow and resource alignment, process efficiency and effectiveness by using LEAN manufacturing & Six Sigma principles
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations or related
- 10+ years manufacturing operations experience to include 5+ years demonstrated supervisory responsibility
- Must know welding, (certification is a plus)

Must have working knowledge of PED, CSA, ATEX and similar stanadards

Ability to coach and motivate employees

Must have knowledge of methods, practices, tools, and materials used in the assembly and test of small components

Must have proven managerial track record and sound organizational, communication and leadership skills

Must be experienced in designing and implementing continuous flow lines, line balancing, and other related production optimization techniques to include application of Lean manufacturing principles

Equal Pay Act Range: Annual Salary Range $121,100 to $181,300 plus benefits and incentive plans.
