About the Position

Processes a wide degree of requests from various sources related to customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer service calls. Assist customers with questions and requests.

Retrieve voice mail messages from the general voice mail system and forward to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Communicate with customers by phone, mail, e-mail, through the Penn Waste website or in person regarding residential and municipal billings, late fees, change in service, etc.

Process new starts, cancellations, changes in service, work orders, etc. in an accordance and timely manner.

Accurately and timely process customer payments through cash, ACH and Credit/Debit cards.

Assist customers with Billtrust online billing questions.

Process: change of address cards, deed transfers, settlement verifications, certificates of Occupancy and other customer correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.

Input daily dispatch tickets, dispatch sheets and productivity information.

Process outgoing mail.

Process Monthly Operation Reports.

Process Disposal and Tonnage Reports and distribute as required.

Determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records, issues discontinuance orders, etc.

Required Experience/Education

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a day shift with core hours 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Overtime may be required.
