CACI (Legacy Next Century), is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD!

What You Will Get to Do in This Role:
The team will join a new program providing development and operational support for the deployment, maintenance, tuning, and monitoring of the suite of tools. The System Administrator will build and maintain Development, Staging, & Production environments, and provide system administration.
To be successful as a System Administrator, you will:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administering: (i.e., setting up, configuring, monitoring, backups, performance, tuning, etc.)
Supporting a large number (40 +) applications
DEV through Production
Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products
Performs Oracle, SWL Server, and SYBASE Database and Application server administration
Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes
Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)
Support data modeling activities by way of prototype database implementations
Works closely with Systems Engineer (Database)
At least ten (10) years experience as a System Administrator (Database)
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or at least five (5) years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Experience with Database (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and CockroachDB)
Extensive experience with Linux and scripting (BASH and Python), and Kubernetes and AWS
