Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with at least one year of personal injury paralegal experience to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our attorneys and play a key role in managing personal injury cases from inception through settlement or trial. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to advance their career in personal injury law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and subpoenas
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
- Prepare medical chronologies, demand packages, and exhibits
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and experts to obtain necessary case information
- Maintain detailed case notes and keep clients informed on the progress of their cases
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of personal injury paralegal experience required
- Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
