Overview of the role
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for lean and digital innovation in manufacturing? Do you thrive in an immersive environment and enjoy guiding others? We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to guide a team of operators at the Innovation & Learning Center. This role involves overseeing the operation of advanced technology, leading a team, and collaborating closely with McKinsey experts to develop and implement digital solutions.
Responsibilities
■ Team Lead: Lead the Innovation & Learning Center Operators, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Provide coaching, manage schedules, and ensure the team meets its objectives efficiently.
■ Technology Oversight: Oversee the operation and maintenance of production equipment and digital systems. Ensure all technologies are functioning optimally and coordinate with technical experts for any necessary upgrades or troubleshooting.
■ Program Facilitation: Assist with events preparations and running production lines during training programs, ensuring that all processes are executed smoothly and that operators effectively role-play and demonstrate key behaviors.
■ Digital Solution Development: Collaborate with McKinsey colleagues to co-develop and enhance digital use cases. Provide input based on team feedback and operational insights to refine these solutions.
■ Curriculum Development: Work with experts to develop new and innovative training modules in lean and digital operations. Ensure that the curriculum is continuously updated to meet client needs.
■ Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency within the center. This includes implementing best practices in preventive maintenance, optimizing Standard Operating Procedures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Compensation

Terms of employment
■ Candidates who can commit to an average of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to increase to 40 hours during critical periods, are preferred
■ Candidates who plan to stay with us for at least 24 months will be preferred. We invest in extensive training for these roles, and it would be ideal for those who develop expertise over time to stay
■ The position is offered as an independent contractor
