Performs patient care activities and non-professional services. These include addressing the personal, physical and emotional needs of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patient and family. Practice must be consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Medical Center administration. Will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.
Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences, simple medical procedures or terminology, or office equipment.
Must completed Certified Nurse Aide Training Program and produce proof of current certification.
Full-Time Night - 11pm-7:30am alt weekends/holidays.
