This position provides administrative assistant support to the C6ISR Vice President for Cyber Solutions at the Annapolis Junction, Maryland facility. The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively with a high level of flexibility in the management of tasks and schedules. The candidate must maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic fast paced environment. The selected candidate must display the ability to work seamlessly across multiple geographic locations. The position requires an individual that is a team player, has excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, professionalism, highly dependable and represents the VP’s office with diplomacy and integrity. Confident and capable of working closely with LM Corporate Executive office, C6ISR Executive staff, other Company Executive staff, Senior Ranking Military Officers and Political Constituents. Position requires extended work hours/overtime, must have flexibility to adapt hours and start/stop time on daily basis to meet requirements of the VP’s office. Typical office hours are 8:00am – 5:30pm with flexibility to work overtime before or after to meet business needs. Involves high volume of calendar management activity; attendance and participation may be needed at meetings to record actions and then follow-up to track closure. Initiative and discretion when receiving and handling e-mail, telephone calls and other requests. Delegate action items and follow-up to ensure actions are completed and on-time. Arrange travel plans that frequently requires multiple stops/changes to meet business schedule; prepare the VP with all necessary material prior to travel. Standard administrative duties include setup and support of a variety of meetings including refreshments, electronic equipment, support escort requirements and other tasks as necessary. Responsible for processing expense reports using LM Expense system and reconciling corporate travel card. Ensure VP is prepared for daily meetings.
- Email management (monitoring and prioritizing) Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time with limited supervision. Perform additional special assignments as required.
Proven senior-level administrative experience; Government customer engagement experience; High level of attention to detail; Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, video teleconferencing systems, share point sites, Skpe for Business, and Outlook as well as familiarity with tools used to arrange, manage and expense travel; Strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communications; Strong multi-tasking capabilities; Self-starter with strong organizational skills; Ability to work with others; Ability to work with ambiguity; Experience working with timecard, travel and purchasing systems, conference room bookings, etc. Willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
