In this role, you will join the newly formed US Transformation Office as a strategic business partner in commercial Capability development. Your role on a lean Agile team will be to develop a learning strategy for the prioritized commercial Capabilities that enables the business to achieve both its immediate goals and long-term, sustainable growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a developing organization, embraces change, can influence without authority, and has strong business acumen and consulting skills. This role will manage internal instructional designers as well as external vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a business partner, supporting the unique learning needs of the Capability workstreams
As needed, create full-scale learning solutions compromised of the optimal mix of formal, social and experiential learning, from ownership of strategy and design to material development and delivery
As needed, consult with and enable business Capability teams to design and deliver business-led learning initiatives within adult learning methodologies
Recommend appropriate modality of formal training needs (ie: instructor-led or eLearning, on-demand or live, etc). Buy, build, and/or redesign solutions as needed.
Supervise the work of two internal instructional designers to ensure Kraft Heinz learning quality standards are met
Act as PMO of external vendor solutions, from vendor sourcing and contracting to SME content development and training roll out
Own the measurement and analysis of the effectiveness of learning solutions within your scope
Partner with expert members of the Agile team on full scale change management and communication plans for all new learning solutions
Collaborate with zone and global learning teams to ensure one cohesive total learning solution for employees
Develop deep relationships within the business, across People & Performance, and within the global L&D COE, to ensure we are building and contributing to the Kraft Heinz culture of learning
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably master’s degree in training and development, human resources development, education, industrial/organizational psychology or related field
10 years of learning and development experience within an organization. Preferred experience in a developing and lean L&D group, as part of a holistic Capability development group, and/or in a federated, decentralized learning and development function.
3 years of people management experience. Preferred experience directly managing internal instructional designers.
Superior interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to adapt style to audience in the moment and share content in a compelling, engaging and immersive manner
Relationship and consensus building, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive leadership
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, including raising potential risks, developing contingency plans and confidently sharing recommendations with supporting reasons
Ability to work independently, create project plan, set direction/priorities, and work directly with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure timely completion
Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and a track record of developing high quality learning experiences
Ability to influence business stakeholders to make decisions and investments for skill building needs that meet adult learning methodologies and will drive long term impact
Contemporary adult learning expertise including instructional design, MOOCs, classroom (physical/virtual) training, eLearning, innovative technology and LMS (Cornerstone preferred)
Data oriented, with competency in gathering and analyzing data, identifying patterns, and deriving insights to show impact of learning. Ability to independently determine what data or report is needed to show impact of a project, create a story to share that impact and build rituals and routines for ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience in Adobe Suite and eLearning tools (Captivate, Articulate and Camtasia preferred)
