Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in a related field.
Experience in working with multidisciplinary UX and/or Product teams on technical implementation.
Experience in implementing visual design systems across a range of platforms in an iterative software development environment.
An online portfolio of work that demonstrates: quirk and humor, independent-thinking; DIY approaches and self-initiated project development; an interest in design and development tools; and examples of story and character-driven projects.
Experience in designing usable web-based interfaces.
Expertise with industry standard creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
Excellent 3D and motion design skills.

As a Creative Technologist, you’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Illustrators, Designers and Animators to make Google Doodles and other delightful experiences across Google. This role will put you at the leading edge of human-centered design, story-telling, product and technology.

Pitch ideas and create delightful digital experiences.
Complete projects with short-, medium- and long-term deadlines.
Translate creative concepts into low to high-fidelity interactive prototypes for testing and analysis.
Write smart, extensible code.
Evaluate product quality and recommend design changes.
