Commercial Finance business partner roles are at the heart of the Finance Operating Model, providing valuable guidance and support to the Commercial (Sales) organization. Commercial Finance business partners own the performance agenda including delivery of all financial metrics and whilst ensuring a robust control and risk management environment.
They are pro-active members of their business management teams, providing financial leadership to challenge and influence the organization in order to drive value from strategic to operational decision making and execution. They bring insight and rigor across the end to end business performance agenda.
They leverage global finance processes, standards, teams, systems and data to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Finance business partner to the General Manager of the Open States Division in US Spirits and fully responsible and accountable for all financial decisions and outcomes including P&L, cash, balance sheet, alongside a robust control and risk management environment.
Develop an engaging environment that allows finance professionals to develop themselves and their careers.
Deliver all metrics of the financial plan including P&L, cash delivery, balance sheet and statutory reporting for the business.
Deliver a robust commercial governance and control environment and an effective risk management agenda.
Partner with the Commercial Finance SVP and Commercial stakeholders to drive the Business performance management process to ensure delivery of all metrics. This includes gap identification, appraisal and approval of measures to improve performance outcomes.
Lead the business partnering agenda to ensure all critical business areas and initiatives are provided with best-practice financial management and that decision making is supported by highly insightful financial and commercial analysis
Continuous improvement of the in-market finance operating model to ensure it is efficient, effective and aligned to the global operating model.
Senior stakeholders including Finance, Commercial, Supply, Marketing, Innovation.
Strong, joined up relationships across Business with other North America Finance teams including Shared Services Enterprise Operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness in all our core processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
8+ years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment and demonstrating commercial acumen
Leading delivery of a financial business partner model in a global shared services environment
