Our services are geared towards providing meaningful information to help educate on the design of drug benefit programs. We offer research, continuing education, and web resources to help all critical stakeholders work better together to optimize the overall value of drug benefit programs.

We are looking for the next Executive Director at Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) that will ignite passion, innovation and stakeholder collaboration through independent research, education and industry events that informs, advises, and influences the marketplace on drug cost management. The Executive Director, in collaboration with an Advisory Board of industry thought leaders, will set the strategy and lead the planning and execution of PBMI research, education and industry event initiatives. An ideal candidate will be comfortable as a growth focused leader, an individual contributor, a detail-oriented manager, and a mentor. Essential Responsibilities

Develop and lead PBMI Advisory Board to establish strategic initiatives
Develop and lead PBMI team in all aspects of planning and execution of research, education and industry event initiatives including business development, sales and marketing and research functions
Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders including Pharmacy Service Providers, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Health Plans, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
Participate as a member of the Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG) enterprise leadership team reporting to the President of PSG Drug Management Solutions
Lead cross functional PSG enterprise strategic projects
Achieve sales and profitability performance targets
Achieve member satisfaction performance targets
Qualifications

5+ years of HealthCare leadership experience
PBM, HealthPlan, Pharmacy Services or Pharmaceutical Manufacturer experience preferred
5+ years of business development experience
Sponsorship, sales, marketing, customer service and event management experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and experience leading complex projects
Strong written communication skills conveying information clearly and effectively with experience writing white papers, position and policy statements
Strong verbal communication skills speaking clearly and effectively in both large groups and in one-to-one conversations
Ability to operate in a decentralized work environment
Flexible for travel 20-40%
