NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Cyber Security Threat Hunt Team Lead to join our team in Houston, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
As a direct report to the Security Systems Associate Director, you will have the following accountabilities:

Lead the Threat Hunt, provide staff performance assessment and evaluations
-
Analyze EDR tool data, SIEM data and other threat Intel platforms.

Perform Malware Analysis.
-
An understanding of how to mine IOCs and what to do with them.
Event/Incident handling experience with research specifically as it ties into APTs and Criminal Actors
-
Understanding of the APT Kill Chain
-
An understanding and analysis of event logging from many different devices
-
Extensive knowledge of current and past malware, attack methodologies, and adversaries.

Experience in malware analysis both static and dynamic.
-
Ability to quickly identify suspicious anomalies thru analysis of patterns in security logs
-
Support security incident response as required
-
Asset identification, network discovery, and software inventory
-
Identification of misconfigured software
-
Analysis of hacking, penetration and defense threats
-
Web application security assessments
-
Strong experience with cloud provider network ecosystems, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure.

Stay up to date on security industry trends.
Experience
-
6 years+ in Information Security space
-
3+ years in technical writing, developing technical documents, and incident response reporting.
-
3+ years of experience in EDR/threat hunt Analyst
-
Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities
-
Strong scripting capabilities
-
Strong experience with Unix/Linux system administration
-
Some experience with logging and alerting platforms, including SIEM integration
-
Current understanding of Industry trends and emerging threats; and
-
Knowledge of incident response methodologies and technologies.
Requires an Active Secret Security clearance
Desirable:
-
Well-rounded background in network, host, database, and application security
-
Experience implementing security controls in a bi-modal IT environment
-
Professional IT Accreditations in several of the following (GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, CYSA, CISM, CCSA, CCSE, JNCIA, CCNA, CISSP, CompTIA Security).
