Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the Consumables Retail FP&A Finance team. This FP&A position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership of the US Consumables team. This includes, among other things, responsibility for controllership, financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis. This individual will become a trusted finance advisor to multiple business and finance teams. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.

Primary Responsibilities:
FP&A for US Consumables.

Controllership of the business.

Long and short term financial planning.

Leading and participating as the key finance stakeholder in cross-functional teams.

Managing the reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and operational performance metrics.

Leading planning and review processes by setting and communicating timelines.

Driving growth and profitability improvements through financial analysis to identify key opportunities and leverage points.

Leading ad-hoc financial and new business development analyses.

Driving cross-business analytic projects for senior management with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.

7+ years progressive Financial Analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications

MBA and /or CPA desired

Strong financial modeling & analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Proficiency in financial and accounting systems (Cognos).

Superior attention to detail.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and dealing with ambiguity.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion.

Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting their findings to senior management.

Persuasive verbal & written communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
