River Park Hospital, a 165-bed facility and a leader in behavioral health care, located in Huntington, WV has an opening for Licensed Psychologist.

A $5,000 bonus is also available for this position. $2,000 is available after 90 days of successful employment and $3,000 after 9 months of successful employment.

Essential Core Functions:

  • Assessment of patients / families.
  • Treatment planning.
  • Individual, group, family therapy.
  • Serve as member of program and clinical teams
  • Communicates with external entities, including providers, Social Service agencies, courts, etc.

Job Specifications:

Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience

  • Master’s degree in Psychology.
  • Valid WV license
  • Specialized training/certification for population served.

Knowledge and Skills Needed

  • Clinical skills for population served.
  • Knowledge of lifespan development.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with patients, families, staff, external entities, and physicians.
  • Ability to document care consistent with policy and procedures.
  • Customer service.
