Located in the San Jose headquarters, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain lab operations and processes
  • Operate imaging lab equipment such as light boxes, light fixtures, camera prototypes
  • Test prototype samples; generate and provide test reports
  • Help expand the imaging test facility through building customized jigs, lab layouts and scripting automation test sequences
  • Analyzing test data to identify defects
  • Rework electronic boards (soldering)
  • Help assemble and test evaluation reference systems for shipping purposes
  • Help manage boards and parts inventory

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Associate degree or Technician diploma in mechatronics, electronics or software programming
  • Hands-on experience with electronic product assembly
  • Hands-on experience in prototype work and building of test jigs & fixtures
  • Experience producing written scientific test reports
  • Software scripting knowledge (for example: Perl, Python)
  • Familiar with computer software environment (Windows, Linux)
  • Strong organization skills (tools, equipment as well as collected data and reports)

Additional skills that will help you differentiate:

  • Experience with Imaging lab and equipment
  • Camera operation, photography
  • Computer and C/C++ Programming

  • Perl and/or Python: 1 year (Preferred)
