Gates Security is looking for a School Security Officer to service a school in the Pacific Palisades area. The Officer shall not have any criminal convictions (misdemeanor or felony), and be able to pass the LiveScan. The ideal candidate would be good with children, have at least 3 years of security experience, and possess a current BSIS Guard Card. This is an unarmed position, no weapons of any kind will be allowed on campus.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and school premises.
- Manage conflicts and diffuse potentially volatile situations with professionalism.
- Monitor the campus for any suspicious activity or potential security threats.
-Detects, investigates, and reports unauthorized or suspicious persons, vehicles and activities.
- Interact with students on a regular basis while fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
- Makes rapid and appropriate decisions during stressful situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
