We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Outpatient Orthopedics setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of manual therapy, anatomy and biomechanics, and exercise dosing and prescription. If not already Certified in Dry needling, the willingness to learn and become certified is a plus. Being in a smaller community, one must have strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build and maintain relationships. This job is a great opportunity for someone who would like to become the go to physical therapy provider in all of Winn Parish and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients- Perform evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careSkills:- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Familiarity with medical terminology- Experience with both acute and chronic injuries is preferred as we see a large Direct Access population.
