HJF is seeking a Administrative Coordinator to support the Neuro Tactical Research Program (NTRP) within USU Operations located at Uniformed Services University (USU) and HJF Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to NTRP.
The incumbent with be responsible for providing administrative project oversight. Specific areas include: travel, budget and accounting, space management, personnel management, overall management, contracts, and purchasing.
Facilitates information flow between program members, scientific directors, and the Foundation.
Coordinates and approves the initiation and processing of purchase orders, supply sources, works and maintenance
Assist with processing travel requests for government employees and civilians.
Provides administrative support to program.
Assists with the development and formulation of Fiscal Year budget requests.
Assists with the coordination of personnel actions, on-boarding, off-boarding staff.
Assist Senior PM with document requests for proposal development.
Provides advice on manpower utilization, work flow, and operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and make overall improvements for the program
Performs other duties as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of organizational objectives, the federal budget process, office automation; ability to work completely independently; ability to use sound judgment in solving problems; ability to coordinate many complex systems and programs at the same time; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum Experience: 0 to 2 years related experience in scientific project or program management.
Work Environment: Office and laboratory setting.
Background: Eligibility to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC); eligibility to obtain and hold a Public Trust background.
