PRIME Hospitality VI is a small business in St Thomas, VI. We are creative, supportive, collaborative and our goal is to Provide high-end, creative cuisine in two brand new, upscale, oceanfront restaurant operations..
Seeking professsional Executive Chef with extensive experience preparing and serving high-end cuisine for a privately owned 175 seat fine dining restaurant and 130 seat beach bar (with seperate quick service kitchen.) Both are ocean-front operations, at a premium hotel property. Michelin star would be a plus as we will be pursuing one of our own. The cuisine is creative fresh seafood with Mexican and Spanish Caribbean influences. The ideal candidate should be trained in classic French techniques, and able to develop innovative menus in collaboration with experienced ownership, while meeting all budgetary requirements, food cost / waste thresholds, and food safety regulations. They will take great pride in dish creation, presentation, and performing as a strong leader to the operation, while training and growing BOH team members for success. They will have experience and understanding in ordering, keeping, and tracking inventory, utilizing our integrated POS system. Must speak and write in fluent English. Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus. Completely new buildout on existing 14 year successful operation previously destroyed by hurricanes in 2017.
