Position Summary:

We are seeking full-time & part-time passionate creative, responsible and dedicated teachers to help us build a community uniquely designed to support the development of children. In this position you must effectively communicate with families, create a nurturing environment for infants & toddlers, demonstrate the ability to carry-out age appropriate education and development goals for infant and toddlers, in coordination with the school Director and Academic Coordinator.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Clear background check along with FBI fingerprint.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Familiar with state child care licensing requirements.
  • Proficient in planning and implementing lesson plans.
  • Flexibility in work schedule.
  • Collaborative, patient, creative and emphatic.
  • Commitment to infant/toddler safety and integral development.
  • Committed to personal continues education and development.

Required Education:

  • High school graduate or have GED.
  • Have a Child Development Associate Credential for Infants and Toddlers (CDA) or be able to obtain within one yearof employment
  • CPR and First Aid certified.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and keep infant & toddlers in a safe and clean environment.
  • Communicate and interact with parents about their children development and provide guidance when necessary.
  • In coordination with the Academic Coordinator and program, plan and implement bi-weekly activities for each infant & toddler development.
  • Maintain each infant & toddler records regarding development and progress.
  • Complete satisfactorily trainings available by employer on-going training program.
  • Ability to individualize needs for infants and toddlers. Follow nutritional guidelines set forth by parents and Principrin School.
