The right candidate will be part-gamer, part-journalist. You must be comfortable writing step-by-step tutorials for new players and more advanced guides for veterans. You'll stay on top of new trends and new games, alerting our readers to exciting developments in the PC, platform, and mobile gaming worlds.

You won't just sit around waiting for writing assignments, you'll pitch ideas for individual stories and more in-depth series. You'll write clean, punchy copy that is easy to understand and enjoyable to read. The right candidate will know how to inform and entertain simultaneously. You should be comfortable writing brief gaming news stories and longer, SEO-friendly pieces that will appeal to audiences for years to come.

We're looking for someone with mastery of the English language. You must know how and when to use an apostrophe. Familiarity with Wordpress is helpful. You will work remotely, reporting to our content director in Chicago.
