Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families in the child welfare system, to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Tampa, FL and providing coverage throughout Hillsborough Co., this position is responsible for working in partnership with community partners, case managers, and families to ensure that all adoptive needs are met for children transitioning into permanency placement. The Adoptions Case Manager will complete adoption home studies, schedules and conducts match meetings with interested families, submits adoption paperwork, and ensures the safely and well-being of the child as they transition towards a permanency placement.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field as defined by Florida Statute 65C-15.017 required
Master's degree in related field preferred
2+ years of experience working in child welfare or adoptions preferred
Prior case management in adoptions or permanency programs strongly preferred
Certification of Child Welfare required (i.e.,CWCM, CWPI, etc.)
Valid Florida Driver's License in good standing required
Must be able to complete a Three-Day new hire orientation clare; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
