The Director of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity is responsible for ensuring best in class performance & availability of ISACA’s infrastructure systems. This is achieved by proactive planning, designing, preventative maintenance, and developing infrastructure systems and cloud operation services across the organization. They will oversee the delivery of information security and operations services across ISACA’s network including network security, application security, perimeter security, vulnerability management, and architectural reviews.
The Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity is also responsible for creating and maintaining network and disaster recovery plans as well as serving as the backup to all levels of support engineering for security, and inter-networking issues. This person must be available for on-call for off-hour escalations.
Essential Job Functions:
Design infrastructure and network security on new and existing networks.
Works with internal and external teams as well as vendors to manage expectations, deliverables, and satisfaction.
Administration and problem resolution of ISACA networks.
Function as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex networking issues.
Provide consulting and engineering services that assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Participates in security audits and assessments, and presents small group training to coworkers on technology environments.
Oversee information security and compliance including strategy development and implementation, practices, policies, and processes.
Oversee the ISACA technical support team and provide internal customers with an exceptional customer experience
Mentor, coach and direct IT staff which includes system administrators, security manage and help desk specialists
Develop and implement the Hybrid Cloud Management Platform, which is comprised of multiple cloud environments, distributed systems management systems, and continuous delivery tools and pipelines.
Hire, train, develop and evaluate direct reports ensuring staff maintain and have opportunity to develop knowledge and skills necessary to drive ISACA’s success as well as their own
Education & Experience:
Required Field of Study:
BS Degree Information Systems, MIS, Engineering,Networking or related discipline from an accredited institution
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
5+ years of IT infrastructure and information security management experience
Description of Minimum Experience Required:
Managing equipment and vendor contracts
Managing SaaS vendors to assure service levels
Knowledge of IT security theory, technologies, policies, best practices, and enterprise architectures
Advanced knowledge of network/application firewalls, end point security, encryption, advanced malware protection, security information, and
event management is required
Thorough knowledge of secure network/systems configuration management, as well as an understanding of networking concepts/devices
Knowledge of application development methodologies and regulatory laws
Experience with Juniper, F5, Riverbed, Brocade
Networking, network design and network security, including topics such as Virtual Private Network (VPN), Intrusion
Detection System (IDS)/Intrusion Detection Prevention (IDP)
Migration of services to cloud provider (Microsoft 365, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
VOIP technologies, specifically around Cisco and Microsoft Teams
Demonstrated knowledge in routing, switching, security, and connectivity
Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and WAN networks
Experience in the Cisco product suite, Meraki
Experience implementing and working with SAN storages like 3Par
