The McKenzie Law Firm, a family-owned and operated legal practice is seeking a qualified and experienced litigation paralegal to work on plaintiff’s litigation and appellate matters for personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil rights matters.

Applicant Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Positive, Joyful Attitude
  • 3 or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Experience in personal injury law
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Excellent grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency
  • Expertise with MS Word
  • Expertise with Adobe Acrobat
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Description:

  • Managing ongoing litigation and appellate practice with a full caseload
  • Managing, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of documents and records
  • Client service and relationship management
  • Handle inbound and outbound mail
  • Conduct Potential Client Intakes
  • Drafting, revising, and editing documents in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and calendaring appointments
  • Teamwork
  • Use of computers and various software such as Clio, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Excel.
