Bridgewater College is seeking outstanding candidates
to serve as an Office Support Specialist for the Department of Student Life. The
position is full-time and is available immediately.

Responsibilities include,
but not limited to serving as the initial contact person for the Department of
Student Life and coordinator of communications with students, faculty, parents,
staff, and the general public in a high paced active office environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Act as “front line” for
Department of Student Life.

Provide consistent presence in

Support Student Life staff with
scheduling and travel arrangements as needed.

Assist in event planning for
various meetings as needed.

Responsible for maintaining
supplies for the office.

Process Accommodation Request
forms and Off Campus Housing Applications.

Pick up and distributes office

Serve as back-up for Office
Manager as needed.

Perform all other duties as

Shared Responsibilities

with Office Coordinator:
Receive and directs students,
staff, faculty and visitors. Serve as a source of information and routing
for the Department.

Triage incidents and those
seeking assistance as needed.

Perform various administrative
tasks for the office including, but

not limited to, answering the phone, providing basic technical support,

meeting minutes, manage calendars and scheduling, and prepare

Work collaboratively with the
Associate Dean of Students to

schedule and prepare for conduct hearing board meetings.


Associate degree in business
administration or related field plus a minimum of three years of
administrative work experience supporting a senior executive, or high
school diploma required with extensive administrative experience and
demonstrated competence.
