The resource will be an individual contributor who partners with Wells Fargo Technology Controls business partners, Information and Cyber Security (ICS) and Independent Risk Management partners to address and support ongoing regulatory remediation efforts adherence to Information Security and Technology policies. Additionally, candidate may be accountable for conducting assessments and gathering evidence to demonstrate adequacy of risk management practices associated with adherence to regulatory and policy requirements.
Resource may also perform ongoing analysis, perform monitoring/assessment activities, and produce reporting that demonstrates policy & regulatory requirement adherence or non-adherence. Must have strong hands-on background that includes evaluation of processes, controls, tools, applications, and related evidence associated with the management of technology and/or information security risk.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Collaboration across Wells Fargo Technology to gain understanding of how to demonstrate adherence to applicable requirements
Provide business stakeholders with guidance on adherence to policy or regulatory requirements with a primary focus on technology and information security risk management matters
Lead activities within TC to assess and collect evidence of adherence to corporate polices and applicable regulatory requirements
Monitor, track, and report progress of adherence implementation activities
Perform monitoring activities assessing ongoing adherence to policy and regulatory requirements
Prepare and report results of gap analyses, implementation activities, and monitoring activities to executives and Risk Committees
5+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 5+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in risk management
3+ years of experience providing general information security or initiative risk reduction consulting to a business group
5+ years of operational risk, conduct risk or compliance domain experience
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Strong presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
Knowledge and understanding of information security industry standards and government regulations
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
