About the Job: Under the supervision of the Regional Director, plan, develop, implement, evaluate and promote a 16-bed dual crisis treatment facility for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The program is for adults who require 24-hour supervision and who are currently experiencing a psychiatric crisis. The program’s primary goal is to divert clients from hospitalization or act as an alternative to hospitalization and to re-integrate clients into the community.
Direct clinical work with adult clients
Overseeing all matters relating to client-related/clinical issues in compliance with: 1) state and federal regulations; 2) Anka Behavioral Health, Inc. Policies and Procedures; and 3) contractual agreements
Participate in monitoring compliance with ANKA's expected standard of Medi-Cal billing.
Supervise all Clinical staff with regard to client care, documentation and crisis management.
Establish and maintain linkages with County and Community programs and set up problem solving sessions when needed.
Oversee the development, implementation and appropriateness of all individual treatment plans created by clinical staff.
Professional License Required: Licensed MFT/ Licensed Psychologist
Experience Required: Understanding of how to participate in a network of community-based mental health services. Experience in planning and implementing activities in a psycho social setting. Experience with serious mental illness. Bi-cultural/bi-lingual experience is an asset.
Experience Preferred: Four (4) years experience in mental health work; at least one (1) year in a community-based mental health setting; two (2) years’ experience in administrative supervision. Experience in crisis residential treatment is an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid CA driver’s license in good standing with proof of current auto insurance. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Med/TB clearance.
