Our platform provides a place where designers and makers collaborate to produce original, quality apparel and accessories that we manufacture on-demand in a socially responsible way. VIDA manages cutting-edge, just-in-time production processing while working with over 100,000 artists from over 2,500 cities around the world. Our goal is to rebuild commerce from the ground-up such that everyone in the ecosystem wins.
We are looking for a talented, passionate and creative Copywriter to support our marketing and design team in creating a compelling, authentic voice for our fashion-forward sustainable brands (both artist and consumer). This position will play a critical role in crafting messages across various marketing channels (on- and offline platforms), providing a distinct, cohesive brand voice with clear content designed for specific target audiences.
Write copy for all marketing pieces including, but not limited to, marketing campaigns, site copy, email campaigns, landing pages, paid social ads, direct mail, etc.
Collaborate with Design to create a strong voice and tone for the brands (consumer and artist) and to develop compelling campaigns
Edit or rewrite existing copy as necessary
Skills and Experience
Able to work on-site at our San Francisco office full-time or part-time.
5-8 years of experience as an experienced copywriter for a B2C brand or advertising agency
College degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar
Ability to write clear, concise content for a variety of media
Ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle various deadlines
Excellent editing and proofreading skills
Experience writing marketing copy for emails, websites, landing pages, marketing collateral online ads
Exceptional listening skills, and willingness to ask questions if requirements are not clear
Take ownership for everything you touch and be driven to produce great quality
Be honest, transparent, respectful and altruistic in your interactions
Technologically savvy and experienced with utilizing online platforms and services related to project management and business operations
Role in the organization
The role is a contract to hire position on our team in San Francisco.
The copywriter will report to our Head of Growth and Marketing.
The hours of the role will be flexible depending on the work but are estimated to be 30-40 hours a week.
$25-$35 per hour
