EL Berraco, a leading restaurant in the industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Shipper/receiver. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our restaurant and ensures that supplies and ingredients are received and distributed efficiently. As a Shipper/receiver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment and ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, process, and distribute all incoming orders, including food, beverages, and other supplies
- Verify the accuracy of shipment contents and inspect for any damages or discrepancies
- Unpack, sort, and store incoming supplies in designated areas
- Maintain inventory records and reconcile them with physical stock
- Prepare and package outgoing orders for delivery or pickup
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of any inventory discrepancies or delivery issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a shipping/receiving role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills, including the use of inventory management software

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
