Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management, partner development and/or channel sales roles in the business technology market
MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
10 years of partner programs experience at an enterprise software (or cloud) company or experience with competitive partner programs
Experience in transition channel models to include cloud, SaaS, services and advisory programs
Ability to solve problems with a track record in designing and executing large-scale sales programs across multiple regions and teams, and work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Passionate about partners, possessing the drive to achieve quick results, and have the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a fast-paced global organization

You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. The Cloud Partner Program & Strategy team is focused on accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud by attracting and growing partners who can acquire new customers and make them successful to help scale this business through them. As a Partner Specialization Manager, you will be responsible for evolving the Google Cloud Partner Specializations initiative to recruit, enable and reward partners who have demonstrated customer success in specific solution, workload and product areas. The Cloud Partner Program & Strategy team is dedicated to delivering programs that create value in our partners’ businesses. Our goal is to reward and recognize our partners’ successes as they harness the collective strengths of our organizations to deliver an unparalleled experience for our customers. In this role, you will work closely with various teams and work cross functionally to meet business goals.

Design and evolve the Google Cloud Partner Specialization framework, driving cross-functional alignment on areas of priority, partner benefits and eligibility requirements
Set recruitment goals based on the business priorities and market demand in specific geographies or market segments
Design and execute programmatic recruitment initiatives to build a robust service- and product-focused partner ecosystem
Share the value proposition of specialized partners to prospective and existing customers
Provide suggestions to the Global Google Cloud Leadership through influence and build consensus around program improvements in our dynamic organization
