Our Creative team operates as HSN’s in-house creative “agency” composed of such positions as Copywriters, Art Directors, Photographers, UX Designers, and many more. This team utilizes their experiences and talents on everything from photo shoots, writing creative content for digital, TV or our social platforms, or designing our next programming guide.
A Day in the Life
As Senior Copywriter, you will responsible for big-picture concepting, editorial storytelling and day-to-day writing projects for the HSN creative team.
Develop engaging, creative and on-brand copy for all channels to support a wide variety of products, brands, promotions and company initiatives
Participate in campaign concepting and brainstorming. Provide copy direction and drive fine-tuning of campaign messaging
Have a thorough understanding of the brand and support a consistent brand voice on every channel
Help create unique selling angles for categories, promotions and products
Help enhance all day-to-day processes, support brand consistency and manage other writers
Assist in establishing, enforcing and updating HSN style guide and copy standards
Review/edit copy and creative as necessary; proof and fact-check to ensure 100% accuracy
Collaborate closely with Art Directors/Graphic Designers to develop thoughtful, compelling creative that supports brand positioning, enhances brand affinity and drives consumer response
Partner with and cross-functional teams to develop the most effective product stories and messaging

A 4-year college degree in a related field
8 years professional creative copywriting experience
Proven ability to write clear, concise, clever, strategic and customer-focused copy for digital and print marketing
Ability to develop a campaign concept and carry it across all channels
Experience collaborating with Art Directors/Graphic Designers on creative concepts
Thorough understanding of best practices for digital media and promotional copywriting
Excellent writing/English skills and strong attention to detail
Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and team mentality
Experience reviewing/editing and providing feedback on copy
Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Exceptional problem solver who can effectively balance business and creative needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively collaborate with all cross-functional teams
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves”.
