Inova Blood Donor Services is seeking a Full Blood Mobile Driver to join our team! This role is scheduled to work a varied shift and schedule to include evening, nights and weekends.

Requirements for consideration:
High School diploma, GED, or documented foreign equivalent.
One – two years of commercial driving experience with a good driving record.
Valid U.S. Driver's License in good standing.
Obeys all traffic and safety regulations as evidenced by annual review of vehicle violations. Maintains an excellent driving record. Follows and obeys all parking requirements and laws for bloodmobiles and trucks.
Arrives to blood drive sites on time as monitored on post drive assessment form. Parks IBDS vehicles in a safe location. Assists in unloading equipment and assists with set up to allow for good donor flow and efficiency as monitored on post drive assessment forms.
Cleans, restocks, breaks down, packs and loads blood drive equipment at end of drive to ensure safe transport.
Picks up all blood products from phlebotomy areas when completed and packs in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices and IBDS Quality Plan.
Interfaces with Account Managers and onsite Blood Drive Coordinators according to Inova Health System's Standards of Behavior.
Updates drive directions and parking locations for all drives as changes occur.
Removes any coolers or ice blocks that are damaged and not suitable for blood product transport.
Alerts manager of any driving violations received driving IBDS and personal vehicles. Attends 80 percent of mobile staff meetings.
