As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Salesforce Business Manager for North America (NA) who will lead the utilization and maintenance of Salesforce.com (SFDC) in the NA Region to support the business needs of the commercial organization.
This position is responsible for providing support to the commercial organization in NA through coaching and training, customization and configuration of the SFDC platform to optimize system compliance and ensure data quality. Simplifying the user experience, access and alignment with the sales organization is critical to success. Additionally, the Salesforce Business Manager will work with NA Sales and Marketing Leaders to identify and implement SFDC solutions to support emerging business strategies. As appropriate, work will be coordinated through an Ortho SFDC Global Team on which this position will represent NA.
25%: Leads utilization and maintenance of SFDC in North America including global enhancements, tools and application deployment. Provides coaching and training to SFDC users.
25%: Ensures full and consistent adoption of SFDC in the sales organization while also supporting marketing, business analytics and finance partners with ways to leverage SFDC data. Provide analysis and insights on SFDC effectiveness and account/market profiling.
25%: Align process, reports and dashboards to the Ortho sales process. Proactively engage Sales and Marketing Leaders, identify opportunities to leverage SFDC to support strategic and tactical initiatives intended to retain, grow and win business in NA.
25%: Ensure data quality and process compliance through regular review and remediation of data with users. Represent NA on the Global SFDC Team, determining and documenting business requirements, identifying best practice and driving adoption. Perform an ongoing audit of the SFDC system in NA seeking to identify opportunities for improvement.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; degree ideally in business, computer science or related field
Minimum of 4 years of business experience, and some commercial experience are required
Must be an advanced or expert user of salesforce.com
Accredited/certified salesforce.com administrator is preferred but not required
Previous sales and/or marketing experience is a plus
Must have experience supporting a live production systems environment
Ability to travel up to 15%, primarily to train and coach users and attend NA commercial meetings
Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Strong written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills in English language. Ability to coordinate projects and communications across multiple internal functions or departments. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
