Prospect and secure new business by utilizing stop-by techniques and email communication; targets will be primarily on-premise but will also include some off-premise as well as corporate catering and events
Build and maintain relationships with current accounts to increase retention
Update and manage account activity in Capsule CRM
Organize an efficient daily route to ensure productive account activity
Attend at least one morning meeting per month at distributor office
Coordinate with distributor reps to join at least one ride-along per month
Perform one retail demo per week
Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
Complete other sales-related tasks as assigned Qualifications
Passionate about our mission of fighting food waste with beer
Excellent interpersonal skills; articulate written/oral communicator and team player
Energetic, creative, and highly-motivated
Strong time management and decision-making skills
Previous sales experience in food & beverage preferred
Knowledge of the alcohol industry in Connecticut preferred
Must have access to a car
Base plus uncapped commission, to be discussed upon application
Potential for flexible hours and remote working
