Essential lob functions:
1. Set floor to roof supports
2. Build or hang ventilation controls
3. Hang and handle power cables
4. Lay rail
5. Rock Dust
6. Shovel and cleanup spillage
7. Load and unload supplies and handle materials
8. Mine drainage including pumping and ditching
9. Assist in power moves
10. Assist in belt moves, installation and repair
11. Watch out for the safety of self and co-workers
12. Preform all required pre-operational checks before operating equipment
The marginal activities of this position are:
1. Operate mining equipment consistent with task training and operational necessities of the mine
2. Assist in maintenance activities consistent with training and the needs of the mine
3. Perform any other assigned tasks for which he or she is qualified by virtue of training or experience
