Here in Kraft Heinz we have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Head of US Exports Planning & Execution to make a real difference in our Company. The position lies within the Supply Chain Development.
This position will manage all US Exports Logistics and S&OP from US. Overseeing export inventories, material handling, customer service, inland and ocean transportation, demand export routines, logistics cost and projects.
Responsibilities of the role:
Lead the exports demand and supply cycle, medium- and long-term planning for exports by interfacing with commercial/ US supply planning teams
Develop capacity projections with support of US Supply to provide inventory availability to import BU counterparts.
Develop route and region specific strategies to reduce cost and increase speed
Implement policies, procedures and playbook at the execution level.
Implement and manage routines to meet appropriate deployments to guarantee fresh inventory levels, eliminating supply chain losses and reducing service issues by leveraging US liquidations + existing channels
Develop customer specific strategies and effective action plans to drive service improvements.
Engage external shareholders to provide supply visibility on behalf of KHC.
Initiate cost savings projects to drive bottom-line growth and simplify the operations by leveraging opportunities of SKU rationalization and shipment optimization.
Coordinate daily execution meetings with logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service teams.
Ensure identification, monitoring and reporting risks related to capacity constraints and discontinuations affecting the import business.
Manage the 3PL service and routines at the main export warehouses in US.
Implement and manage projects to reduce logistic cost related to Inland, Sea freight, Road freight, Rail freight transportation.
Optimize the process along the logistic chain in order to find opportunities of efficiency gain.
Support the development, management of the overall logistics, S&OP and customer service department budgets.
Ensure that the Company is following laws and regulations regarding transportation, including dangerous materials and not permitted ingredients to each country. Support any legal issues pertaining to transportation or distribution.
Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Manage the dispatch plan of export co-packers supporting the supply chain covering the counterpart’s demand.
Monitor all sales transactions reviewing all orders, payments, sales shipments.
Manage claims and action plan mitigating the loss for KHC and damage for the customer.
Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
Ensure the team's adherence to customer service levels and monitor carrier performance
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering, Logistics or Supply, MBA preferred
Experience in a global/FMCG company
7 – 10 years of experience in logistic or supply related roles, 2 – 3 years leading teams
High level of experience leading 3PL’s and transportation carriers
Experience or knowledge in the management of a plant warehouse operations
Ability to lead development of tactical and strategic plans to drive customer service levels, financial budgets, and cost savings initiatives
Logistics and Supply chain expertise
Knowledge of Sea Freight management
Team and people leadership
Strategy formulation, financial acumen, presentation skills, value quantification

Excellent communicative and analytical skill
Extensive TMS experience
This Journey regards the whole of International, with a high complexity to bring Countries from where they are to the common goal. For that, the ability to organize and structure thoughts, ideas, and projects becomes a crucial need in the way of simplification.
In this position, you’ll be dealing daily with a wide range of stakeholders, both on the BU’s and Senior Leadership. Having clear, effective, and engaging communication will make a big difference in whether the projects will or not be delivered in this role
When guiding such a wide Community through an unknown road, deliver the message goes often beyond speaking. In those cases, Presentations can be a Powerful tool, improving Clarity and Engagement, two basic ingredients in any successful Strategy Implementation
