Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Quality Assurance Administrator in our
Quality Assurance Department for our Columbus, OH location. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and customer focused individual.
Our Quality Assurance Administrator fields incoming concerns from sales reps and communicates these concerns to the Quality Assurance Specialists, Quality Engineer and Quality Assurance Manager. This position is also responsible for the “Out for Repairs” Queue in the QA Consolidated Log and creating and sending out UPS return labels.
This position requires some completed college coursework and/or 4 years related work experience. Previous administrative background preferred.
This position requires a high degree of number acuity and the ability to analyze data
This position requires basic understanding and proficiency in standard Microsoft computer software programs, Excel, Word, and Outlook
This position requires the ability to work independently, respond quickly to problems, and be able to quickly adapt to changing procedures and expectations
This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, time limited environment
This position requires a strong level of comfort with answering phone calls to address concerns from our sales force and responding to them in a manner accepted by Kimball Midwest’s two customer philosophy
This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate win-win compromises and utilize sound reasoning to do so
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, vendors, sales reps and customers—both orally and in written form
This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers and the ability to make arithmetic calculations
This position requires the ability to follow both written and oral instructions and the ability to keep organized records and a prioritized daily workload
