The selected candidate will become a technical staff member for laboratory software development and run-time simulation computing environments for the LM Aero Simulation and Systems Integration Laboratories (SimSIL). This organization develops state of the art, real-time, pilot-in-the-loop fighter and airlift simulations and systems integration laboratories. This includes simulators for the F-22, F-35, C-5, C-130J Aircraft.
As part of the Simulation and System Integration Labs (SimSIL) organization, the candidate will provide computer and network support for Windows, Linux and Solaris Operating Systems, and be able to assist other developers, modelers and integrators working on these systems and run-time systems.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret security clearance updated within the last 5 years to start.
Desired Skills: Five years experience working with multi-processor Windows and Linux computing systems, administrating networks, workstations, file servers and PCs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Security+ CE Certification
Experience with software development.
Experience with Windows, Linux and Solaris operating systems.
Experience configuring computer systems and software.
