G&A Partners is partnering with Centurion Pipeline Co., a midstream crude oil transportation organization, who are looking for a Right-of-Way Agent to join their organization.


Essential Job Duties:
Acquire easements, lands, leases and permits required to facilitate the company’s operations.
Draft and negotiate land related agreements, including but not limited to easements, licenses, deeds, assignments, purchase agreements and options,
Analyze title opinions and cure title issues.
Assist with implementing and setting standards for departmental processes and procedures.
Provide leadership and guidance to the Land Service Companies and Agents as needed.
The position will include frequent interaction with federal, state, and local governmental.
Develop and maintain good landowner relationships. Coordinate communications between Contractors, Construction and landowners.
Monitor changes in regulations and land rights to ensure policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge and application of land and negotiating principles, theories and concepts.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of Texas State Bill 18 and the impacts in regards to Condemnation.
Have extensive understanding of land and right-of-way department interacts, advises and collaborates with business development, engineering, operations, legal, regulatory and other professional groups.
Possess required computer skills sufficient to assist in upgrading the file management record system and research capabilities.
Ability to develop and implement plans requiring mitigation of encroachments within company easements.
Other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Business or a related field.
Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in performing all aspects of land and right-of-way, with a minimum of 5 years direct experience in the pipeline industry working on both regulated and non-regulated projects.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of right-of-way, including project management, acquisition, title, permitting, budgeting, cost forecasting, operation, due diligence, public relations, community outreach and solid understanding of general regulatory and legal issues.
Position will require up to 25% - 50% travel.
Strong Capital Project experience preferred, with emphasis in the Permian Basin.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and time management skills
Possess strong negotiation skills as well as experience recognizing, analyzing, and resolving difficult negotiating situations.
Possess a good understanding of applicable county, state and federal regulatory rules and procedures.
Strong PC skills, including MS Office Suite and Land Information Systems
