Endoscopy procedure disposables include single-use valves and irrigation tubing. Medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies are used to disinfect high-level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS.
Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.
Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.
This position will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting water treatment equipment (Reverse Osmosis and Laboratory Equipment), exchanging service deionization tanks, and completing necessary paperwork. General responsibilities include electrical and mechanical testing, advanced troubleshooting and repairs, system cleaning, disinfection, calibrations and other required services. This employee must be able to plan and execute system upgrades without supervision.
Ability to complete equipment troubleshooting, maintenance and service activity runs to ensure system performance.
Respond to non-routine “call outs” for tank exchanges and basic service in a timely and proactive manner.
Sample collection at customer sites and analytical chemistry tests specific to each site.
Lead repairs and upgrades performed at customer sites, coordinating the work during customer shutdowns.
Maintenance of accurate records and communication of all data on customer sites.
Provide safety and application training to customer.
Prepare and submit to customer and superiors “service” reports detailing maintenance preformed and equipment / application status.
Provide basic technical assistance to maximize equipment systems and application benefits to customer.
Maintain and manage basic routine spare parts inventory.
Maintain an awareness of current chemistry, application, and regulatory, developments pertaining to the Medical and High Purity Water treatment business.
Maintain situational awareness of assigned customer base to make sure MCP is adequately servicing our customers.
Advanced understanding of water chemistry and water treatment equipment, and the ability to train others.
Ability to train customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems being installed.
Advanced mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to complete complex plumbing tasks including working with Sched 80 PVC per MCP Workmanship Standards.
Ability to complete complex electrical tasks including work with high and low voltage electrical per MCP Workmanship Standards. Understanding and troubleshooting of basic hydraulics.
Install start-up and train customers on water systems for Dialysis and Commercial Industrial applications.
Ability to troubleshoot over the phone and assist in problem resolution.
The ability to function and perform duties without direct supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to read, understand and follow Quality System documentation.
Good organizational skills.
Basic computer skills required including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Ability to manage and maintain confidential and proprietary information.
Clean driver’s license required.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in water treatment service and installation.
Must be able to repair and install water softeners, RO systems, UV equipment, back washable carbons, multimedia filters and various pumps.
An ideal candidate typically possesses a Bachelor’s Degree; at minimum, Associates or Technical Degree with 5-7 years of industry-relevant experience.
Ability to work a variety of schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to take assignments on short notice.
Depending on regional expanse, travel miles driven may be in excess of 40,000 per year.
