Unison Consulting, Inc. is a Chicago-based aviation consulting firm with expertise in airport finance, economics, planning, retail concessions and software systems development. We are seeking an experienced Director of Capital Finance to join our growing team. The Director of Capital Finance will have prior experience managing finance and accounting functions, and creating effective financing, funding and cost control programs for capital projects. The person in this role must have 10+ years construction accounting experience with leadership roles in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities:

· Project accounting and reporting for capital projects including the five-year CIP

· Maintenance of project scopes, schedules, budgets and funding sources, commitments, and expenditures

· Facilitating project close-out activities

· Managing capital funds disbursements including trustee-held bond funds in accordance with bond indentures

· Assistance with assigning funding sources to capital projects

· Management of the Capital Project Information and Controls System (CPICS)

· Issuance of monthly capital program and project cost reports

· Issuance of bond indenture completed projects reports to the trustee

· Maintenance and reporting of trustee bond fund balances including reconciliation of trustee bank statements to bond balances

· Documentation and maintenance of information for grants reimbursement

· Assisting the comptroller in year-end financial accounting for the financial statements

· Managing staff responsible for maintaining the Capital Project Information and Controls System
