HIRING IMMEDIATELY / TAX PREPARER
Rollins & Rollins CPAs is an independently owned local public accounting firm and we have been in business for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in delivering excellent service to our clients and we are looking for a tax preparer to help us do more of that.

Must have qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a tax preparer (1040, 1065 & 1120 returns)
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to prepare a tax return completely from beginning to end for a CPA to approve
- Ability to use Word and Excel
- Proficient at handling computers
- Tax preparation with a high level of accuracy
- Possess decision making and problem solving abilities
- Possess skills of paying attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ethic
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain expected performance
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to properly prioritize the workload
Not required qualifications, but experiences that would be helpful to our office:
- Software used (QuickBooks, UltraTax, ACS)
- Ability to prepare 990 and 1041 tax returns
- Experience at a full service public accounting firm
- Experience preparing or proofing sales tax and payroll tax reports
- Experience preparing, compiling and/or reviewing financial statements
Duties on this post include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing individual income tax returns
- Preparing corporate income tax returns
- Preparing partnership income tax returns
- Checking 1099 forms other staff members have prepared
- Checking W-2 forms other staff members have prepared
- Checking payroll reports other staff members have prepared
- Answering client questions regarding their tax returns
- Assisting clients as well as other staff members in person
Office snacks and beverages are available.
Bonuses based on individual and group production are both paid monthly.
There is a large pay variance on this post since the pay for this post is directly related to experience and efficiency. If a person is knowledgeable and experienced then they are going to be more accurate and quicker getting the job done and their pay will be at the higher end.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
