Together with our client, Apple Inc, we are honored to be opening a gorgeous new 169 capacity program in the fall of 2018. Join us as a teacher and you will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. You will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by Bright Horizons and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). You will be working with an innovative emergent curriculum that fully utilizes our World at Your Fingertips resources. There will also be a focus on STEM education integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with an emphasis on the application of knowledge to real-life situations.
What we are looking for:
Minimum age of 18
Hold or be in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or related, with a minimum of 12 ECE units including 3 Infant/Toddler units
3-5 years of professional teaching experience in a classroom
Some supervisory or mentor teacher experience
Meet state educational licensing and additional center/school requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
A passion for child care and making a difference in the lives of young children
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in use of Apple products such as the Mac and iPad
Excellent knowledge and use of Apple’s core software applications used in education (Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand and Clips) as well as other education-related third party apps
Knowledge of the Apple Teacher program and related resources for developing a baseline proficiency of Apple products for teaching and learning
Exemplary use of digital resources across multiple curricular areas. A passion for child care and making a difference in the lives of young children
